The aim of SP2 is to improve their reliability, efficiency, safety, and environmental friendliness by developing and providing novel and innovative solutions using the latest technology regarding hydraulic scale models, numerical methods, and field investigations. Moreover, SP2 promotes the further development of hybrid modelling strategies in order to minimize uncertainties associated with individual modelling techniques.
